Note: My raw food diet is always changing as I experiment with new foods. I almost never eat the same thing everyday.
As of August 2008, this is a sample day of raw foods for me:
Breakfast: Raw food smoothie, made up of the ingredients HERE This is pre-made the night before and blended in the morning.
Morning snack: banana
Lunch: Large salad, usually the equivalent of one complete bag of prewashed greens (romaine lettuce, Mache Rosettes, field mix, etc), with banana for desert. I make my own salad dressing, ingredients HERE
Afternoon snack : raw pecans or almonds (most of my nuts are ordered from online sources that I'm confident don't heat/pasteurize their nuts)
Dinner: Raw food smoothie like the one I had for breakfast, ingredients HERE
Late evening: Green Smoothie (any available fruit with a large quantity of leafy greens). Leafy greens could be romaine lettuce, kale, spinach, red chard, Bok Choy, carrot tops or even dandelion greens from my back yard. I'm also growing my own lettuce and Bok Choy in my back yard which gets harvested for my smoothies.
Other evening snacks:
(1) handful of raisins and raw cashews
(2) Dulse (a chewy dried sea vegetable)
(3) or whatever fruit is available (apple, orange, mango, peach, strawberries, black berries, plantain or red bananas, kiwi, goji berries).
